The SS Police Regiment Brixen was a security formation of the Nazi German Police (the ''Ordnungspolizei'') which existed for approximately 18 months between 1943 and 1945. The unit was formed from ethnic Germans living in Italy and was a "sister" regiment to the SS Police Regiment Bozen. The unit was attached for operational purposes to the 15th SS Police Regiment, which was the regular SS garrison security formation assigned to the Italian Social Republic. The Brixen unit operated primarily in northern Italy along the Alps, mainly involved in anti-partisan duties.
